Biography

Thank you for checking out my QRZCQ page!

I was first radio licensed in 1973 at age 15 and very active on 10m SSB and CW until early 80s.
also, I held N2CVI call sign from 1981 to 2006. I am a member of 10-10 international #13304.
Since 1988, I had been stationed a couple of overseas countries for my business, and had been in a QRT mode for over 35 years with amateur radio.
In the fall of 2023, I felt like getting back into ham radio, so I started operating on the 10m band, which I have been familiar with for a long time.

My setup now is very simple, IC-7300 and home brew Diamond loop antenna.

My other hobby is traveling and bicycling. I have been traveling around Japan by bicycle since I was in high school. When I was in college, I made a Trans America bicycle tour by myself from San Francisco to New York in 55 days,(6,300Km tour) experiencing the kindness and beautiful of many American peoples.
I am looking forward to working you (again) on 10m. QRV on 10m FT4 and FT8 almost every day !!
