| Biography Start ham radio as JA3UOQ in 1974, when he was 14 years old.
First he started operating 6m during his high school days.
He started DX after he got 2nd grade licence in1977 when hehe was the student of Kyoto university.
During his student days, he worked on 6m, 20m, 15m as well as 2m SSB.
In 1979, he moved to Tokyo after he got a researcher job in Nippon Telegraph and Telephone.
He started a professional career as a telecommunications engineer and he has very little time to spare for ham.
He sometimes to go to the local mountains with his 6m SSB transever to enjoy ham because he is living the small apartment.
His activities as amature radio is very limited.
The situation continued after he got married. He enjoyed 2m FM when he drives.
He has stopped operating amature radio when he is very busy for his business and child education in 1994.
He came back to amature radio in 2015 and restart JA3UOQ.
Now he is very active JT65 in 20m and 40m. Olso, he is engaging in the development of MLA Magnetic Loop Antenna with other JP hams.
