Biography
A club station of University of Yamanashi, the sole national university in Yamanashi Prefecture.
This club was founded in 1962 as a student club. Since then we have been keeping our callsign and station license. At present JA1YFL is operated by students, staff members, and alumni members.

Paper QSL: For JA stations, we send our QSL cards via JARL Buro (in a so-called "one-way" manner) except contest QSOs. For non-JA stations, we will usually not send a paper QSL, but we do when received or requested. Please feel free to e-mail us.

From 1/4/0224 to 31/3/2025 we QRVing using a special call sign 8J100UYE to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Faculty of Engineering, University of Yamanashi. 8J100UYE will not issue paper QSLs or will not register to LoTW, eQSL, or Japan's Hamlog hQSL other than QSL card images.
