Biography

I started my ham activity as an SWL in 1969 (call-sign: I0-14143), and as an OM in 1974, with the call-sign I0VFB, from my home town of Perugia. I had to move in a number of places for my job, so I also had different call-signs: I2VFB in Monza, Italy (2000 - 2006); HB9TWZ in St-Sulpice and Aubonne, Switzerland (2006 - 2010), and PE1F in Utrecht, Netherlands (2010 - 2021). In March 2021 I retired and came back from the Netherlands to Perugia, Italy and got a new call, IU0PJS.

My main interest is CW, this helps because I can't put up good antennas...

73's and see you on the bands !

Francesco

Equipment

Yaesu FT-950, FT-897D, FT817ND, Kenwood TR-751. Antennas: home-made Rybakov (7 m) for HF, GP for 144 MHz. A 144 MHz 6-el. Yagi is available but installed only for VHF contests.
