Equipment

My main HF rig is the Kenwood TS-590. My legacy TS-450SAT is always available as a backup unit.
I also use a Yaesu FT-817 for QRP, portable and maritime mobile activity.
The antenna is a SteppIR BigIR MK3 vertical, mounted on the house metal roof, at about 60ft from ground level.

I have an Icom IC-821 and two Kenwood TH-D72 handhelds for VHF/UHF and APRS activity.
