Biography

Long story short :).

In 2021 I have my 35th ham anniversary.

First licensed in 1986 as Y44RI. Proud member of the famous Y44ZI gang, that still exists today.

Became DL4AKB.

Moved to Singapore in 2001 and became 9V1AG. Shame you can not hang antennas there so easily.

Finally moved to Thailand, first Bangkok in 2010, been on the road for a while (>1 year Indonesia), before we settled in beautiful Chiang Mai in the north of the country in 2013.

On air just recently again. FT-1000MP MkV Field, a 20m vertical Delta Loop, some random length 12.5m vertical and a 15m tower still sitting in the garden to carry a beam one day.

Happy to be active again, now playing a lot with the digital modes, that were not existing last time I tried (besides Packet) hi.

73, Marcus

*LoTW should now work also
