Biography

Got my licence back in 1990 but being an impoverished instrument technician apprentice at the time, and an unfortunate accident where I backed into the brand new car of the person selling me my first transceiver, I didn't have the money to persue the hobby and it never got off the ground.....or in the ether. After years of SWL, and increasingly better paid jobs, in 2017 I decided to re-apply for the licence and was given my original call sign.

I'm a marine electrician currently employed on a north sea oil rig.
