Located in Leicester Forest East on the western edge of the city of Leicester.
Leicester is about 150km north of London, almost in the centre of England.

I live with my disabled wife and cat.
I am a cyclist, sketcher, allotment garde, petanque player (badly), grandfather, and collector of analogue (film) cameras.
My wife and I both love to travel and are frequent Interrailers.

Equipment

Kenwood TS590s into a half-size G5RV at about 300m ASL (and about 15m above ground). Maximum of 100w - generally running between 55-75 watts.


Anytone AT288 Handheld about 3 watts FM to a vertical half wave dipole

Baofeng UV5R (for 2m & 70cm FM) (No external antenna)

Digital modes & Hell, PSK, RTTY via a very boring HP WIndows 10 laptop. (Linux MInt on a Dell laptop until August 2022)
