Biography

I have had my call for 51 years in July 2014 and yet I'm still addicted to Amateur Radio !

It amazes me that after all that time I am still learning and finding aspects of the hobby that completely hold my interest. I especially enjoy challenges such as 160 metres and 6 metres. I have worked more than 284 Countries on 160 Metres over the years, with a grand total country score of 345 worked on the HF bands.
I have both sponsored and been involved in many major Dxpeditions including 9M0C, 3B9C, D68C, 3B7C, T32C, JY7SIX, JY8ED and operated as part of the Camel Trophy communications team as G4SMC/LU, G4SMC/CE1, G4SMC/9M6, V31RD. I am a founder member of the 5 Star Dxpedition group and spent many happy years preparing ,supporting and working on major Dxpeditions with what have become lifelong friends.
I still have a busy working life with my NEVADA group of companies www.nevada.co.uk but find time for Ham radio
