Biography

Hello from Steve G1XOW located on the southern edge of Sherwood Forest, the home of Robin Hood.

QRA=IO93MA.England.CQ=14.ITU=27.WAB=SK64.IOTA=EU-005

DX Code of Conduct - you should read this. I follow the DX Code of Conduct - best practice in Amateur Radio matters to everyone. I never work anyone contesting in a DX Window - if you want my points you must play fair!

QSL METHODS
I prefer ClubLog or LotW. If you want a paper card then let me know during our QSO, or send an email to steve@g1xow.uk

ABOUT MY RADIO STATION
Licensed for 30 years, I mainly work the DX portion of 80, 15, 17 10 and 6m bands.

I'm QRV on all bands from 160m to 6m. I spend lots of time building my own antennas. When I am on-air you can often find me in the SSB DX segment of 15/17m, or more likely the 10/6m DX when bands are open.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Flex 6300 SDR, Alpha 76pa, 3 over 3 stack at 20/24m.
