Retired IT and Telecommunications Consultant

Worked over 40 years in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, delivering and supporting LOS Microwave Radio Links, Satelite Links and Sub-Sea Fibre to Offshore Oil and Gas Production Platforms and Drilling Rigs and Developing and supporting Drilling IT application systems.

Worked in England, Scotland, The Netherlands Iran and Qatar as part of my career and travelled to Belgium, Kuala Lumpur, Brazil, USA, Norway, Oman and Australia.

Proud Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Sailor, Motorcyclist, Tennis watcher, Gymnastics watcher (former coach) and obviously Radio Amateur. I love photography and videography and ran a wedding videography business with my youngest son. Love fast cars and ran a track-side Kartshop with my eldest son, selling ROTAX racing karts, parts and accessories.

Went off the air from 2006 to 2023, while I was travelling the world with my job. but now I'm fully retired, I am back on the air, and my wife's a fulltime Radio widow.
