Biography
When I was twelve years old, I used to listen to short waves and HAM Radio communications in AM mode, through my grandfather's short waves receiver model with tubes "Ducretet Thomson".
In 1982, I became SWL with call F11AER.
In 1985, I obtained my FA1LIZ license (novice class VHF) then I got my FC1LIZ call the following year.
I learned CW at the military radioclub F3RM "Radio station of the military school of transmission in Montargis". My CW teachers were F2CR Jean and F6HYK Serge and Michel F5JDB.
I became FD1LIZ, and then FE1LIZ. My call has been F5LIZ since October 1999.
Now retired, I am practicing my two favorite passions: QSO in CW and ballroom dancing with YL.
I mostly communicate in CW mode. I never use digital modes, if you hear F5LIZ in data mode, be sure it is a usurpation of my call.
I wish DX to you all, and see you on the air!
Kind regards and 73's QRO.
