Biography

Hello from the heart of Europe.

I am a 'rookie' HAM operator, got my novice license on May 29, 2018 and am enjoying every bit of it. Still learning my way around the site and am always happy when I receive QSL cards, for me it's like waking up and every day is my birthday. I am an old fashioned gal who loves getting actual cards that I can put into a notebook.

I was born in the USA and moved to Germany 20+ years ago. I speak German fluently and enjoy languages. I can speak a little bit of Spanish and Russian but if spoken to, I often get tongue tied. My OM, Sven is also an operator, DF8LY.
