Biography

Born in 1954, First License DG4PN in 1981, 1985 upgraded to DF6WE. i send old fashioned QSL-Cards.. between 1000 and 3500 per Year.. calls who never sent a card to me since the last 25 years will never receive a card from me. QSL-Cards show comets like Hyakutake (1996), Hale-Bopp (1997), Ikeya-Zhang (2002) and 17p/ Holmes (2007). I am active in Contests (CW, SSB, RTTY) Fieldday and ARDF - see my results at DF7XU.de I have fun building homebrew equipment for microwaves, tube amplifiers, antenna´s and matchboxes. A lot of time is invested for connections on 6m and hopefully in future on 4m band.

RTTY via Lenovo T43, MixW and homebrew Interface to FT817 and PA 100Watt 6m via FT690R2 into 4 ele Yagi 4m via TRVTR 5 Watt into 4 ele Yagi .. in April 2015 upgraded Power on 70cm via GI7b-Tube to 200 Watt PA´s for 2m (GS-35) 70cm (GS-31) and 23cm are in progress.
