Biography

Since 1961, on off the air, from Novice with a call WV2VWK, as a teen. In 1962 after I passed the General test with the call WA2VWK. In 1969 I settled in Houston, Texas. In 1970 I filed (which was required back then) for a change of call and location. From 1970 to 2019 my call and class was WA5RMM and general. Finally, in May 2019 I challenged myself, studied and took the Extra Class License. In May 4 2019 I passed the test and shortly there after this date I was assigned the call AC3EK.

Retired I have plenty of time to operate. With my modest station configuration, on modes AM(1 contact), CW, FT4, FT8 and SSB, I achieved contacts with over 3600 QSOs on 80-6. I never achieved this many contacts with my previous stations.
