Biography

Hello everyone,

My name is Mato Samardzic - born in 1964, ham since 1980.
My first callsign was YT2SM (1988-1992). Since 5 July 1992, I have been using 9A3SM.

My favorite mode is telegraphy and I am a member of many CW clubs:
HSC – VHSC - 9ACWG – HACWG – SPCWC – MCWG - AGCW etc.
I am a proud DIG member no. 4740 and holder of all DIG awards (including plaque and DIG TROPHY-1000, the first 9A holder).

As a ex. police officer (now retired from 01.07.2018.Zagreb Police Dept. riot unit), I am an avid collector of police/army patches, badges and ranks. My collection is big, and if you have something for me to donate, swap or trade, please let me know! I always have duplicates for you 

In addition, I am an active IPA member I keep in touch and visit IPA conventions, meetings and new friends are always welcome!
In short, I passionately LOVE HAM RADIO and it is my second nature!
