Biography

I am using the call 5Q5T for QRP and portable operations, QRP can be from my home QTH or other places in Denmark.

During summertime (late spring to early fall) i will operate from various campsites in Denmark.

In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 I was active from Hjarnoe Island. This year we will not go to Hjarnoe.

Please look at OZ1TMK for more information about me.

Regarding my QSL policy I upload my log to LOTW and eQSL regularly, I do always QSL via bureau unless something else are stated to me.

I do send QSL direct if I need QSL for specific QSO or DXCC. If you think you need my QSL card faster than the bureau system can do, dont hesitate to mail me direct - no need for SASE, IRC or Greenstamp - I will respond anyway.

Rig used for QRP:

Elecraft KX3 (My favorite), Flex-1500 or FT-817ND.

Power for rigs are normaly provided from a couble of 7AH batteries and 15W solar panel.

Buddipole with 5 meters alu pole.

Various homebrew wire and vertical antennas made from cheap glasfiber phishing rods and wire from junkbox in my workshop

Elecraft T1 tuner or Homebrew antennatuners and UNUNs.

Small Lenovo or Dell labtop W7 x64, HRD, FLdigi and WSJT-X for digital modes.

When operating QRP from home QTH I am using an old Dell desktop with

Ubuntu Linux, FLdigi and WSJT-X or an old MacBook Pro.

I do operate SSB and Digital modes like JT65, JT9-1, PSK, MFSK, Contestia.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Elecraft KX3 (my favorite), Flex-1500, FT-817ND, Buddipole up 5m, vertical or logwire antennas.
I do try to work as much as possible on battery supplied with solar power.
For the Elecraft and the FT-817ND I use homebrew CAT/Audio interface.
