Biography

My name is glenn im from ipswich in the uk and have been into radio since i was very young. Started building my own radio circuits and antennas from the age of 10.
The hf bands are where my main interest is but also like to operate on the other bands.

Equipment

ic7300, main hf radio. various vhf/uhf radios digital and analogue. different mfj tuners and filters. have a good power supply but dont use it as i run all my radio equipment and computers off grid with a 5kw solar array and 14.4kw battery system.
i use an ocf dipole i made plus i like my hustler 5btv with 300 metres of stainless steel wire cut to different sizes over the top of several stainless steel metal lath around base and it works great. and its all covered by astroturf to keep the wife happy.
vhf/uhf antenna is v2000 got to repair my x510n. 10 ele 2m yagi 15 ele 70cms yagi.
