For most years the Colorado QRP Club runs two completely separate sites for its annual effort in the ARRL's Field Day exercise. This video features our "Aloha" site where things are a bit more casual. Our more competitive site, known as "Battleground," can be seen in an adjacent video on this channel.

Our Aloha and Battleground Field Day sites are usually located many miles apart. This year our Aloha site was once again located at the Arapaho group campground in Cherry Creek State Park just southeast of Denver.

Our Battleground site, again this year, was located at 8,000 feet on some private acreage just a few miles northwest of Golden, Colorado.

Both sites are a lot of fun, in different ways, and are always open to visitors, operators, helpers, or just the plain curious!
