DL-DX RTTY Contest Rules (German)

Sponsor and through executive is the DL-DX RTTY Contest Group (DRCG, www.drcg.de)

rules:

1. Task
Contact and exchange QSO information with all accessible
stations: "may work any" once per band.

. 2 Date / Time
Every first full weekend of July,
Saturday from 11:00 UTC to 10:59 UTC on Sunday (24 hours).

. 3 Mode
only (Baudot) RTTY.

. 4 Bands
all amateur bands from 3.5 MHz - 30 MHz (except 10, 18 and 24 MHz).
The existing band plans should be observed.

. 5 Classes

A Single Operator, Multiband, a single radio
One person performs all operating and logging functions.

B Single Operator, Multiband, a single radio
One person performs all operating and logging functions, however, is
the total operating time up to 6 hours. The breaks must be greater than 60 minutes.

C. Single Operator, Multiband, a single radio
One person performs all operating and logging functions.
Only dipole or groundplane antennas are used.

D Single Operator, Multiband, a single radio
One person performs to all operating and logging functions.

E Multi operator, multi-band, a single radio

In the classes a to e only a single radio device may be used (SO1R).
In the e category may parallel to the main station an additional radio used
to be to work on other bands multipliers.
In classes F and G are only the limitations of their own amateur radio license.
in the contest used transmitters, receivers and antennas must be within a radius
located 2 km diameter.

Club rating:
in order for a club to be listed, the following conditions must be met: e
s at least 3 logs of members be submitted.
the club name must be mentioned in the log.

the use of DX clusters is allowed in all classes.

in the classes B and D (6h), the first 6 hours of operation are counted.
However, it is allows anyone to make longer operating.

. 6 Digit exchange
RST + QSO number starting with 001

7. QSO points
QSO with own country: 5 points
QSO with other countries in own continent 10 points
QSO with other continent: 15 points
QSO EU station with a DL station: 3 additional points
QSO with DL stations outside Europe: 5 extra points
Each station may be worked only once per band.

. 8 Multipliers
Each DXCC country on each band, inclusive first contact with: Australia, Canada,
Japan and USA. Additionally, each call area in VK, VE, JA and W count
as 1 multiplier per band (W1, WA4, JA2, CC4).

Result:
Overall score = (sum of the QSO points) multiplied by (sum of the band multipliers)

. 9 Logs
Logs must be sent in Cabrillo format.
Filename: callsign-used eg XX0YY.LOG.
Logs without category are classified as category F.
Only electronic logs via e-mail accepted.
Each submitted Log, of the more than 15% of the logged QSOs as defective
are withdrawn, is regarded as checklog.

10th Log Deadline
Logs must be received no later than seven (7) days after the end of Kontests.

11th Awards
Awards for the first 10 places in each class.
The decisions of the organizer are final! The submission of logs
, the participant accepts these rules. Diplomas are only as a PDF file

12th Miscellaneous
The international beacon frequency 14.100 MHz +/- 500 Hz must be kept clear.
