• Contest: Scandinavian Activity SSB Contest and Oceania DX contest CW

Begins: 2015-10-10 12:00:00 UTC

Ends: 2015-10-11 11:59:59 UTC

The “Scandinavian Activity” SSB Contest starts at 1200 UTC Saturday, Oct 10 and ends at 1159 UTC Sunday, Oct 11.

Only QSOs with Scandinavian stations count, that is, those belonging to the following entities: Svalbard JW, Jan Mayen JX, Norway LA, Finland OH, Aland Island OHØ, Market Reef OJØ, Greenland OX, Faroe Islands OY, Denmark OZ, Sweden SM, Iceland TF.

The 3.5 – 7 – 14 – 21 – 28 MHz frequency bands may be used.

Non-Scandinavian stations credit their logs with one point for every complete Scandinavian QSO, but each QSO by non-European stations on the low bands (80, 40 meters) is worth three points.

For non-Scandinavian entries, the categories are as follows:

All Band – High Power [SINGLE-OP ALL HIGH]
All Band – High Power Assisted [SINGLE-OP-ASSISTED ALL HIGH]
All Band – Low Power (output 100 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL LOW]
All Band – Low Power Assisted (output 100 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL LOW]
All Band – QRP (output 5 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL QRP]
All Band – QRP Assisted (output 5 W or less) [SINGLE-OP ALL QRP]
Low Band – High Power Assisted, solo 80 e 40 metri. [SINGLE-OP-ASSISTED LOW-BAND HIGH]

Multipliers: each worked prefix-number (Ø-9) in each Scandinavian country is valid for one multiplier for each band (eg SI3, SK3, SL3, SM3, 7S3 and 8S3 are all in ONE district and count for ONE multiplier on each band).

Logs must be submitted by one week following the end of the contest at the following location: www.sactest.net/robot.

Complete rules can be found at: www.sactest.net/blog/rules.

Also on the air, the CW portion of the Oceania DX Contest, running from Saturday, 0800 UTC through Sunday, 0800 UTC. The contest website is www.oceaniadxcontest.com.
