Notes
A concurrence with another contest

A concurrence with another contest cannot be avoided. QSOs with stations of such a contest may be placed into your MWC log, too. Instead of the serial number, the number sent by the worked station shall be placed in the MWC log. It must be really a number, i.e. only a combination of numeric characters 0 to 9. No other characters (including space, slash, etc.) are allowed.

If the worked station sent only an alphabetical code then 0 (zero) shall appear in your log.

If a log from the worked station will arrive, the numbers will be compared with this log. If no log arrives, the rule for the unique stations will be applied.
A QSO with a not-contesting station

If a QSO was made with a not-contesting station that did not sent a serial number then place 0 (zero) into your log. The rule for the unique stations will be applied.
Examples:
Exchange sent by
the worked station Exchange written to the
MWC log, alternative 1 Exchange written to the MWC log,
alternative 2 (suppressed leading zeros)
599 037 599 037 599 37

Summary (year) results

Penalization

The only way to penalize a participant of the MWC activity is their disqualification in the relevant round. It can be applied by the contest manager for rough violation of the hamspirit, these rules or the rules for ham radio station operation as issued by the respective national authority (PTT etc.).

The above rule can be applied also when the log of a station contains too many errors that could damage other contest participants.

By participation in the MWC activity the participant declares he/she will observe all above mentioned rules and accept decisions of the contest manager. By sending the log, the participant declares that he/she kept these rules and the rules for ham radio station operation as issued by the respective national authority.
Summary (year) results

In this contest, the resulting order is evaluated for the year . The annual evaluation starts on the begin of the next year of the contest. It is based on particular rounds' results.
Exception - duration of the 6th year:
The 6th year of the MWC will last 9 months only since 1-Apr-2014 to 31-Dec-2014.

Short waves (HF)

The annual result is calculated as a sum of at the most 25 best results he/she achieved in the selected contest category during the year.
Exception - evaluation of the 6th year:

39 rounds will be realized in the 6th year; at the most 19 best round results will be used for the overal evaluation of the 6th year.
Very short waves (VHF)

(This article is valid only for the years in which the VHF part was open)

The annual result is calculated as a sum of at the most 6 best results he/she achieved in each contest category during the year.
Awards

Based on the summary results awards are generated in electronic form for each contest participant. The awards can be downloaded from the MWC web.
A paper-form award can be shipped to each contest participant if required. A fee for this service is equivalent of 60 CZK (3 USD) if shipped outside of Czech Republic, equivalent of 40 CZK (2 USD) for shipping inside Czech Republic.
