Biography

Hello I am Vin. I was first licensed in 1988, operated 15 years, under the callsigns KB2GJZ/Novice, N2ISN/Tech-General-Advanced, and WQ2N/Extra. Then I took a long break from radio. I returned to this hobby in April 2015, as AC2QF/Extra. Shorthly afterward, I was given the vanity callsign WZ2J.

My primary interest is the art of high-speed radiotelegraphy, (QRQ). However, I happily
enjoy CW at all speeds, between 5 and 50 wpm, as the other station can comfortably operate. Occasionally, I work other modes, like SSB and RTTY.

I am also interested in experimentation with antennas. My QTH has a stealth multi-band fan vertical dipole (stapled to a tree - fed via buried coax), a long-wire/end fed Zepp, 7 vertical, and random wire / W3EDP.

I operate on 10M-160M, including the WARC bands. QSL via eQSL, QRZ, or direct.

73 and good Dx! -

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
