Biography

First licensed as KB2DQO (Novice Class) in 1987. Upgraded to General Class in 1988 then Advanced class and Extra Class in 1989. In my opinion, the Advanced Class test was tough but the Extra Class written and 20 WPM code tests were a breeze in comparison. Randomly issued WW2V in 1990 (so it's not a vanity call). I am also the co-owner and trustee of the WS2W 145.450 MHz repeater located in Central New York's Mohawk Valley.

Equipment

My current station consists of a Kenwood TS-570D(G), several wire antennas and a big mouth (to break through the pile ups).
