Biography

My name is Bill Johnson, I am married to the Wonderful and Beautiful Nancy Johnson.. I am also the proud father of a Daughter (Aggie Grad Class of 2012), Son (currently enrolled @ UT of Arlington) and a daughter who lives in Southern California... (who is the proud mother of 2...) I guess that makes me a grandfather... Darn... so that makes me an OM for sure... so, there we go.. the appropriate group to join is OMISS... find me there my OMISS # is 9531

History... I graduated from LD Bell High School Hurst TX in 1975... Joined the US Navy and entered the Nuclear Power Program and was a Reactor Operator until 1980 when I went to teach at ETA School's Great Lakes IL... I left the Navy and attended Dallas Baptist Univ, graduating in 1988. with a Major in Business Management. I worked for Radio Shack Computer products division, then GRiD Systems, then ultimately AST Computers, until it's demise in 2000... BTW, I joined the US Naval Reserves in 1985 and retired as a Electronic's Technician Chief Petty Officer in JAN 2001. In 2001, I joined ATMEL Corporation as Network Engineer and worked there from 2001 to 2007... Currently working for JPS Health Network, (Tarrant County Hospital District), as a Senior Network Engineer... there it is again Senior=OM... ;)...

I will try to make as many nets as I can..... and if you tired of hearing me bend your ear.. just say... Shut UP and let someone else talk... BTW... If I am on the radio and not working a net, you will most likely catch me on the Waterfall working PSK or a couple of KC away working RTTY... on 20M or 40M... I also hand out with those guys on 3916... It's great to be a Freewheeler!!

Later and 73's
