Biography

I have enjoyed HAM radio since the mid 70's. Still have my first rig, a FT101EE but don't, use it much. My main radio now is a TS590 which is also my first solid state rig. I was inactive from early 90,s until 2013 when I got the bug again. I do have an 811H that I sometimes use in chasing DX but for the most part prefer low power. In fact as an exercise in futility I have recently been interested in QRP. Found that I can work coast to coast on less than 10 watts. A challenge but fun. Getting set up so I can throw the QRP rig in a back pack and work from the mountains while camping. Hope to meet you on the air. Not much of a rag chewer but if I hear your CQ, I will answer. 73 from Oregon.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
