I have been in and out of Amateur radio since 1979, whenever time and life gave me a break for a bit. This is my second period as a Amateur Radio Licensee. I worked as a Communications specialist in the 1980's , and opened my own successful communications company in the early 1990's. About 1995 I got interested again in Amateur Radio.
Personal interests include... Drag Racing 60's Muscle Cars.... Collecting 50-80's 45 rpm records.. .. I DJ (DJ Gonzo)various Rockabilly and Swing Dance events in and around NYC!..Fortunately I have a very supportive wife who loves to ride and support my crazy hobbies... I have been a avid antenna experimenter since I was a kid, I have built and used dozen upon dozens of Ham Radio Antennas, including the Loop Antenna, Delta Loop, G5RV, Beverage Antenna, End Fed Antenna, Yagi Antenna, and my favorite the Cubical Quad Antenna. When I am not outside building an ham antenna, I am inside modeling them. I have modeled at least 400 antennas, including just about every commercial HF antenna ever made.
Radio is a Icom 7851 and current antennas are a 4 element 10-20 meter multiband Cubical Quad at 75 feet, A 40 meter loop, and at my other QTH a 6 element 36 foot boom 10 meter Cubical Quad at 75 feet a 10-40 Hexbeam. Also a 7 element 40 foot boom yagi. For 80 meters I use various wires at both locales. I always run stock power (200 watts) with no Amplifiers. I'm located about 40 miles east of New York City in Huntington NY.
Thanks to all I have worked, and PLEASE QSL. 73'S AND GOOD LUCK DXING!!!!
