Biography

Licensed in June of 1955 AS WN9RVG in Chicago Il Was one of the founding members of the "6 Meter Club of Chicago." Mother was K9JFN (SK IN 1994)who and moved to Delwood IL in 1972 I moved to Delwood IL in Pope county, in June of 2000, and set up a VHF UHF Contest station with my son WD9EXD Operate 160 thru 1296, a long as Ice and wind storms let the antennas stay aloft. My CW skills have deteriorated to about 10WPM and radiation has taken its toll on my voice box so my SSB is good for about 10 to 15 minutes. So I spend most of my operating time with digital odes. Primarily on JT65 or FSK441 on HF,6,and 2.
