| Biography Received my novice license in March of 1956. My first commercial transmitter was a WRL Globe Chief and my receiver was a Hallicrafters S-20 R. I still have both of them. Later got a TR4 which I still have but is in need of repair. Have used a number of ICOM transmitters and finally am now using a 9100. My favorite is still the 703. My main antenna is a 42 ft. vertical with 80+ radials and a base loaded tuner. Use FT8 for 95% of my operations. Located fourteen blocks south of the University of Oregon. GO DUCKS!
