| Biography I am a retired Broadcast Engineer with 40 years experience at several radio stations on the East Coast of the USA and retired from CBS in New York City after 28 years of service. I worked at WVHC-FM, WASA AM & FM. WAPC/WHRF AM & FM, WCBS AM & FM, WCBS-TV and the CBS Television Network. I was Chief Engineer and News Director at WAPC during which time I received my Technician class Amateur Radio license (WB2ZHA). I also held an FCC First Class Radio Telephone license, required for employment as a Broadcast engineer. I upgraded my Amateur license to General in 1989, Advanced in 1994 and Extra in 1995.
