Biography

I became a ham in 1967 in Pabianice as SP7CIK. My first contact was on 2m AM and CW. Since that time, I have confirmed 113 grid squares and 25 entities on 2m.

Between 1971 and 1975, I was working in Warsaw as SP5CIK.
I moved to Opole in 1975 and then to Chmielowice.

Since 1994, I have focused more on DX and I now have 340/346 entities awarded by the DXCC. Since 2005 I have been the DXCC Card Checker.
My greatest interest now is the DXCC Challenge.

Transceivers: Elecraft K3 and Icom IC-746 PRO

Antenna system:
· 160m – inverted L with 64 buried radials
· 80m – 4 square with 24 buried radials on each vertical. Designed and built by Frank DL6EBH. Working very well!
· 40m and 30 m – 2 element yagi by SP7GXP
· 10-20m – 7 element by SP7GXP
· 6m – 7 element yagi by SP3GEM
