Biography

Ham since 1991, as a class C PU1MBR. In 1992 promoted to PY1SI class B, and in 1993, class A.

Living in Palmas, Tocantins, about 950km north from Brasilia-DF, since 2003 and using the aditional callsign PQ2SI.

The favorite mode is PSK in afsk-ssb. Phone in 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m and 6m (this band is excellent in Palmas in fall and spring).

I work in Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), PhD in Mass Media Studies, professor and researcher in Journalism Department.

I opere in a low profile station. Frequently I do QRP outdoor and like too much to experiment new positions to transmit.
