Biography

I was born 1941, and knew morse letters when 11 yrs.
First call oh5sj 1958, later oh2cd, f0sb, oh7nb and 1990 finally oh9nb.
My professional years I worked for Finnish Broadcasting Company
as transmission engineer.
But radio has always been most important hobby.
In 1960-1970 I homebrewed many different equipments:
all-transistorized RX, TX, XCVRs and measuring equipments.
To-day self-made things are mainly the antennas.
I like best to try QRP (WAC and 250 countries in 24 months).
CW is my mode. There the gentlemen are to be found.

Equipment

Elecraft K3, P3 and Juma PA1000 for home station.

Antenna up 18 meters is 3 element yagi from Ultra Beam.
Magnetic loop.
Home made pneumatic launcher (spud-gun) for shooting wires.
