Biography

I'm currently a high school student studying at the Collegiate School. I received my Technician license on May 15th, 2014 and upgraded to General August 2nd, 2015.

I'm very interested in satellites and will listen to SO-50 occasionally. Hoping to work it someday.

You can hear me fairly often on the local repeaters and during special events.

I am a:

RATS an RARC club member
Skywarn Net Control Operator and Trained Spotter

My personal website is adamk.me

Equipment

My radios consist of a Yaesu FT-450D, Yaesu FT-2900R, Yaesu VX6R, and a Baofeng UV-B5. I use a roll-up jpole when stationary and a Diamond SRH77CA on the VX6R and an NA-771 whip on the B5 for portable use. Planning on building a 2m Tape Measure Yagi as a project for my HT soon for sats.

I use a Powerwerx 30A power supply for my HF and VHF rigs.
