Biography

Hi just afew lines to tell you about me i am 76 year's old and retired construction worker in the piling game.I have been on the radio for many year's starting in the 60s,then in 2013 i took the take the Foundation Licence so i could us the HF Bands.
Its been great and helps with the retirement with all this extra time on your hands to play with.I all so us the CB Radio as well to keep in touch with my local friends it helps when there is no skip running on the bands.

I live in the City of Norwich and have lived there all of my life,its a nice place to live with many holiday people coming here for there holidays on the broads in the boats and for the coast like Gt Yarmouth and Cromer right round to Kingslynn in the north of Norfolk.

My station for Hf i use a Yeasu-FT1000mp-V. and my Antennas are,Multi Band Vertical fof 6m to 80m for 10m a imax 2000.and a longwire.I am on QRZ.com QRZCQ and EQSL. 10-20m Dipool.I also use d-star.
