Biography

Hello All , I was a trained railway telegraph clerk on the railway in 1950s , I wanted to go in the RN/MN but finished up in the British Royal Air Force on RAF Bomb disposal sqn, On my qrz.com I dedicate my Biography to the Heroes of the M/N on the Atlantic and and Arctic Convoys of the 2nd world war , 100 % qsl to other operators..Although the QRZ site refers to the Merchant navy and Marine subjects it is not to be confused with the idea I was a R/O as I qualified as a pilot and hence the photograph, I use an Icom 718 and End fed at 50 feet and usually about 40 Watts, I am CW only mode ..
