| Biography Hello and thank you for checking out my call sign which means we have either made contact or you have heard me on a frequency somewhere. The picture you see is of me and my lovely wife Karen standing in front of our motorcycle training academy which is proving to be a great success. Saying nothing about it being another of my great passions.
My other great hobby is radio as you may have guessed by now. I managed to take the last RAE Exam to gain my call sign. With some home study proved to be successful first time.
My current shack consists of an IC7700 is my HF set,an IC-PW1EURO matching linear. For my VHF set i am currently using an ft897 . The HF Antenna system is a simple home brew Inverted L with a 7mhz trap fed to ground capable of tuning to 5 bands 80mtr,40mtr,20mtr,15mtr and 10mtr it is a compromise but seems to work well and a Mosely 3 ele beam for 20 mtrs which also works well here, having worked the Falkland Island,Japan,Brazil and the list is endless. Also in the corner of my garden is a Mazzoni baby loop. I will update my photo's shortly and up load some of the equipment.
So until then my friends 73's 88's where applicable Worked DXCCs: |
