Biography

Hi and thanks for visiting my profile.!

I signed up here first of all cuz it's easy to look up for callsigns when I am in need - also to make it easier for other to look up for my own callsign.
I also notised that we can get more informations and knowledge to the radio amateur, than you get from working the specific station around the world. It's nice.! :-)

I was born in 1957 - and had a passion for electronics since I was very young (from 69 - 70s)
Just some years after that - my interest for radio engineering also was born in me.
In my young teens I started up with 'walkie-talkie' - but after a while found that just as annoying and didn't give me any satisfaction for what I really was interested in and looking for.

So approx. 10 years after - I got the chance to apply in a course for Amateur Radio and was able to work out my license in 1981. The first year I was working only on CW - but the year after I got the full license and could start working on voice too.
At that time 'the world' opened for me - in many ways.

Sorry to say - I haven't been too 'radio active' through the years - upto now, but even though been able to take part of lots of the different modes which is possible to work on as a radio amateur.
I was away from the 'radio activity' for approx. 11 years, but have been able to start up again after too long time away from the hobby:-)
So - lastly, I've got my 'shack' up and go as I have been longing for in many years.

I find this hobby as a very nice way to both relax from the daily stress - and also combine this hobby with some of my work and other interests.
(electronics and photographing/filming).

Have been working within electronic services, producing and repairing computers and equipments for about 15-16 years now and still today do lots of repairing of such kind for customers today.
In addition to this - my passion for electronics have made it possible for me to both construct and build equipments for use together with the different radio-equipments in my shack.
This make this hobby so fascinating and multiple - and you can choose the side of this hobby that fits to your own interest and possibilities.
So no it's only to sit down - listen through the bands and hopefully can get some other Hams to talk to, share and exchange experiences from many parts of the hobby.
Good luck to all...!!
