Biography

Grew up in Charleston, SC and live 20 miles from there in Summerville. 62 years old 2017. Ham since 2015...I think. 2 meter is ok but underused around here. HF is fun if I can keep others stuff from getting in the way. I finally set it up so I can stay indoors and do the HF. Eagle Scout. Paramedic for 37 years...ouch is right. Knees and hips are going out. Deer hunter. Fisherman. Camping. Boating. I like my FT-450-D. It's my only HF radio. Looking at a 7300 but...need it? One twin lead stereo line and I am on JT-65 and that ain't bad. Gonna try RTTY next! Keep your ears open for me and I will do the same for you! jimself1954@gmail.com
