| Biography When I was about 12 I bought a Hallicrafters radio at a yard sale for $2.50 and listened to it just about everyday.Later I purchased a scanner and a cb radio.I just never pursued a license because i didn't think i could pass the Morse code part of the test. But the bug kept at me through the years and I recently found out that the Morse code requirement had been dropped by the FCC,So I finally took the tech exam 08/2013 and passed.I currently have an Anytone AT-5888uv dual band on a Comet CA-2X4SR antenna in my truck and a Baofeng HT that I will be using along with the crossband repeat function on the Anytone.Recently I have added an Alinco DR635T and a Kenwood TS-480SAT to the QTH an Easy-Tenna end fed antenna. I will respond to any QSL card I recieve and I also will be using LOTW and eQSL.I am currently a member of the Chickasaw Amateur Radio Club in Hernando,Ms.,I actively participate as an EMA,RACES Volunteer in Desoto County,Ms.and have completed my CERT Certification training as well as Sky-warn for Desoto County Worked DXCCs: Equipment Kenwood TS-480SAT | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
