Biography

I first obtained my Technician license in mid March of 2012 and my General a month later. I originally became licensed for FPV (First Person View). This is a common term used for remotely piloting a RC aircraft with a video downlink.

In November of 2012 I purchased a Baofeng UV5R HT because of its low cost. Soon after that a new whip, then a roll up J-pole, then a vertical, then a yagi, then a stacked yagi, then an HF rig, tuner, longwire, hexbeam, etc., etc., etc! This is addictive!
