Biography
I have now returned to the Continental USA from Central Luzon since August of 2016. Mostly, I have been busy trying to not hemorrhage funds from my ever dwindling IRA account... But still finding the time to much enjoy tuning in Int'l Morse Code plus a bit of the old Shortwave stuff. Perhaps I could better manage money if I'd not bought the following equipment:

Antenna is homebrew .. 427 feet of speaker hook-up wire wound as verticle oval loop, 10 meters circumference, fastened to 2x4 support spars in the attic; with approx. 15 meters of zip cord strung into an adjoining room as a ground radial...

SDRplay RSP1A ... (still working on bringing that online w/ Ubuntu 4.x on an Acer laptop)
