Biography

Little back ground on my self.
i got in to radios in a early time Dad had a Cb when i was young.
so i been a round a radio of some kind all my life as i got older i got big in to cb radios and ran them for meny years and still do to day.

about 3-4 years ago i meet a few guys in town that were Ham's and they keep talking on the cb to us non hams on what places they have talked to and it drew me in i wanted to do that. i started asking whats /were i can go to learn /study to take my test and they pointed to the placs i had to go and well here i am now.

so i have to say thanks to my friend and elmer (KD0ACO John) and (W0YMH Bill)
becouse of them my best friend (Dan KD0NUB) and an old CB friend (Jon KD0NNB) and my self (Mike KD0NMZ)are now part of the ham world and injoying all that it brings and offers us to learn from.

being disabled and little income i was wored about getting my radio gear once i got my lic well mom and dad was kind enuff to get me started buying me my radio. thanks MOM and DAD

Other radios my Kenwood TM-241a thats in my truck.. little update took out the kenwood put in a yaesu ft 1500m had that in the truck for 2 years just replaced that with a yaesu ftm 3200.. picked up a set of hamstick for 80-10m for when I take my yaesu ft 450 out camping. Update well. the G5RV been replaced with a 40-80m fandipole
