Biography

In 2023 I will be celebrating the 38th anniversary of receiving my amateur radio license (November 12, 1985). I was issued the callsign KA0VNV and have just stuck with it. I am active on 10M SSB (when open) and local 75M SSB nets with some 80M CW thrown in occasionally for good measure as well as 2M FM and 440 FM. I also can get on 40M, 30M, 20M, 17M, and 12M when the tuner cooperates. I now have a Kenwood TS-2000 so now I am on the 6m and 2m/70cm "other than FM" bandwagon finally after all these years! Hope to catch you all on the bands!

Equipment

Kenwood TS-2000S/AT 100 watts maximum into 75M loop and 6M loop.
Kenwood TM-V71A 2M/70CM FM into a Diamond dual band vertical antenna.
