Biography

For latest update? I first got my license in May of 1995, as Tech Plus, then Went to General in August after that. For most of the time that I have been on the radio it has been mobile. At one point I was able to stop on a hill or somewhere and within 20 minutes or so be 45 feet in the air or 2 meter useing a J-pole or 10 meter. Spent alot of time in Eastern Oklahoma on top of Talimena Drive working dx on 10 and 2. Can we say Field Day year round.

Back into HF after being only 2 meter for years.

Equipment

Current radio set up is an Icom IC-718 with a Palstar AT1500-DT at 100 watts. Random Long Wire antenna currently.

2 Meter j-pole at 40 feet
