Biography

Took the Technician test in March 2016 and General test in April 2016. My son (WV7TRT) encouraged me to get my license shortly after he got his General. He became my Elmer and helped me set up my station for the digital modes. He is an Electronics Engineer and a wiz working with computers!
Digital modes are my primary interest. I have not done much with phone but hope to do more in the near future.
My main and only radio is the Yaesu FT-991. I use it with either a SuperAntenna or Ultramax 100 end fed antenna.
I am retired and in addition to Amateur Radio, I enjoy building and flying radio control aircraft and making stained glass projects.

My current call sign K3TTT (received as a vanity call) was held by another Ham at one time. So you may think I was a QSO before but not me until after April 2016.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Yaesu FT-991
SuperAntenna
Ultimax 100 end fed antenna
Using: Ham Radio Deluxe and WSJT-X
