Biography

First licensed in 1969 as WN2IGT on Long Island. Upgraded to general class in August of 1969 and became WB2IGT. After a brief period, became WA2FSP in 1976 and K2MRK around 1998. Retired in May of 2015 and relocated to Rockledge, Florida in September 2015 then Melbourne Florida a year later.eGot back on the air in December of 2015 with a Yaesu FTdx 1200 and a Buddipole up 18'. Recently replaced the BuddipoIe with an end fed wire which performs much better. I can be on any band from 80-6 meters and spend the majority of my time on CW and FT4 and FT8. While I am in no way competitive with my modest station, I love contesting and enjoy hunting within the contests for new states and countries. Since I am starting over from square 1 after moving down to Florida,I need just about everybody.Thanks to the FT modes I now have WAS and DXCC awards.Qualify for VUCC but have not applied yet.Also have over 1000 total prefixes confirmed.All confirmations since moving to Florida and QSLs are all via LoTW.
