Biography

First licensed as KN1PLX in July 1960, then K1PLX in September 1960.
First Class Commercial Phone licensed obtained in 1963.

I seldom operate from my home QTH, but I am active from my radio club (Providence Radio Association) as W1OP, in Providence Rhode Island.
I do operate the IARU contest under my own call (K1PLX) every July. Contest cards have been made for this contest (for Rhode Island confirmation).

I AM THE QSL MANAGER FOR W1OP, AND WILL ANSWER ANY CARDS RECEIVED:
All cards with SASE will be answered in a few days.
DX Cards without SASE will be sent through the BURO (may take a couple years).
US cards without SASE will be sent as a postcard (no envelope).
