Biography

L’A.R.I. Sezione di Ragusa e’ la sezione provinciale dell’Associazione Radioamatori Italiani (A.R.I.) e si trova al Km 6,450 (36°51’49” N; 14°39’11” E) della strada provinciale Ragusa-Marina di Ragusa (S.P. 25) . I locali di sezione sono aperti il sabato e la domenica dalle ore 9:00 alle ore 12:30. A dispozione dei Soci trovasi una stazione amatoriale HF, un traliccio carrellato per sperimentazioni sulle antenne, una stazione v/uhf per applicazioni digitali ed una stazione v/uhf per fonia locale. La riunione domenicale e’ anche dedicata al corso per l’ottenimento della patente di radioamatore.

The A.R.I. Section of Ragusa is the provincial section of the Association of Italian Radio Amateurs (A.R.I.) and is located on km 6,450 (36°51’49” N; 14°39’11” E) on the provincial road Ragusa-Marina di Ragusa (S.P. 25). The Section’s club premesis is open Saturdays and Sundays between 09:00 am to 12:30 pm, and is equipped with an HF Amateur Radio Station (IQ9RG), a mobile trellis for experimentation with antennas, V/UHF equipment for digital applications as well as a V/UHF station for local traffic. A Radio Amateurs Course is held on Sundays and is intended to coach students to obtain their Ham Radio Licence.
