Biography

I love homebrewing and low power and consider from my personal point of view the only Ham way.

I'm an electronic Engineer and I like to do my own rig by myself or modify old existing equipments.
I love also mountain hiking and for a long time I had my radio on the backpack.

Now I use only homemade equipment and sometimes listen with old loved radios (National HRO, Collins old RX, or R&S EK07). I use just CW and bug (a loved Lionell J36 WWII bug).

Antenna is also homemade, at present some LW and tuned verticals

Please contacte me at : i5skk.qrpp@gmail.com if you like to share homebrewing ideas and experiences.

Equipment

Homemade TX: - 6CL6 + 6DQ6 about 1-20 W;
"one tube" 6DQ6 TX, about 10/12 W

- F. Jones Push Pull TX with QQE 03/12 tube, abt 5 W out

all rockbound 6 with FT243 XTALS and sometimes HC6/U type.

Will add a Regenerodyne RX in few times in order to have a complete tube and very basic equipment, but not a bad perdomrnace rig, just basic and simple and alway adjustable.
